One Belt One Road - who gets where?

Conference on Chinese investments - opportunities and risks

China is one of the most influential countries in the world economy, and its role is growing. The implementation of China's foreign economic strategy is backed by loans from Chinese banks, which underpin a number of infrastructure developments in Asia, Africa and Europe. Hungary is particularly open to Chinese investments, strives to be active part of the Belt and Road Initiative. In order to create a sustainable and liveable Hungary/Europe/world, it is worth considering the opportunities and risks inherent in this direction of economic development. Our conference intends to contribute to this by taking stock of international and Hungarian experiences.
